In recent years, the mountain hut has been modernized, but has still retained its traditional character. We have beds for 150 guests spread out over 36 rooms in the mountain lodge and ten cabins. For the bride and groom, we have the option of staying in their own wedding suite and their own wedding cabin.
Wedding menu
Choose from our customized wedding menus or feel free to come up with your own ideas. We recommend allowing for a small snack between the wedding and dinner, as it may take some time before the guests can go to the table. Our kitchen meets your wishes for the menu, aperitif, finger food and evening meal.
Marriage
Valdres offers unique and traditional stave churches, mountain peaks and endless possibilities for weddings. Vasetvatnet invites you to an adventure wedding with a row-boat, Grønsennknippa (1,368 meters above sea level) is open for airy weddings and the church room in Lomen Kirke has a completely unique atmosphere.

Hairdresser
At Fagernes there are several skilled hairdressers who can help with hair, make-up and nails for brides and bridesmaids. If you wish, we will be able to get you in touch with them at our first meeting.
Florist
In collaboration with local florists, we can help you set your dream table for the wedding dinner. Some also want flower decorations for the church and at the reception.
Photographer
We know several skilled wedding photographers who are well acquainted with Gomobu Fjellstue and the surrounding areas. A local can be good to have to find the right backdrop for the photos.
